To celebrate the release of our brand new Book monster decodable readers range, we’re putting together a free challenge to support your existing phonics teaching program!
About the Challenge
We’ve partnered with the Book monster decodable readers writer, Mary-Anne Jovanovic, to bring you this challenge. Mary-Anne is also an educator herself, so you can be sure that each lesson and activity is designed to effectively teach focus sounds to younger learners.
The purpose of this challenge is to give you a diverse selection of activities to teach focus sound in small groups within your classroom, while also offering you fresh, engaging ideas for your existing phonics programme.
There’s no time limit to complete the activities, however, you will need to sign up by April 21st 2024 to receive the material.
How it Works
Over the course of five daily emails, we’re going to send you bite-sized activities, all of which will support you in teaching focus sounds in the classroom.
This challenge is completely free to receive and implement, but to get the most out of it, we recommend that you also grab our new Book monster decodable readers: basic code set.
Each daily email has been written in correlation with this new range of books, so that you can implement the daily activity and use the corresponding book in your classroom.
This challenge covers the first five books in the series, but you can use the exercises we’ll be sending you with any early years book.
(Prior to purchasing, you can download a sample of the Book monster decodable readers to make sure they’re right for your classroom.)
Join the Challenge!
The challenge kicks off on April 22nd, 2024. To join, all you need to do is register here.
We look forward to seeing your results!
